This magical Spirit Being was created by hand sculpting ecofriendly paper clay, then added gesso and several layers of spray ink and paint that dry into mystical earthy tones of bronze, teal and green. Her face resembles a Mayan Moon Goddess blessing the harvest.

Semi-precious turquoise is one of the oldest stones in the history of man. It is used by the Native Americans for protection and healing. It is used as a talisman for travelers. In the orient it is used for good fortune. Turquoise is a stone for self-forgiveness, self-acceptance and the release of useless regrets. It encourages us to honor ourselves as a creation and a tool of the Divine. Turquoise is one of the birthstones for December.
Repurposed sari ribbon tassels in hues of green, sage, orange, salmon and teal blue cascade down her sides with wire wrapped glass beads, a handmade paper bead from Africa and vintage glass crystal beads.
This beautiful, up-cycled sari ribbon is created by women in Fair Trade co-ops by collecting the remnants of sari silk fabric accumulated during the trimming of high quality sari silk fabric during the manufacturing process. This sari ribbon is imported from Fair Trade women's cooperatives in India and Nepal helping to support and empower the women and children from those countries.
